Finer screens assist improve the solid lay.
Tri-helical engravings were originally created using conventional means of mechanical engraving to produce high volume deposits in coat weight applications. The continual course screen engraving style of this engraving creates a continual channel in one direction that helps to maintain the flow of the coating material within the channel of the anilox. With the latest Fibre Optic Laser engraving technology available, finer screens can now be applied to this style of engraving which will assist in improving the solid lay of the material being applied.
We can confidently predict the volume or necessary dry coat weight g/m² that needs to be applied using our ‘COCAL’ predictor.
